I made an Apple Crisp yesterday, using Stephanie O’Dea’s recipe (http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2008/01/crockpot-apple-crisp-recipe.html). Only I added in Cinnamon to both apple mixture and topping mixture. For the topping, I used crushed Oats’N’Honey Granola Bars which turned out surprisingly well. It was all 7-11 had, and I wasn’t going to go all the way to the store just for topping since I only needed topping and orange juice!

Her recipes are really easy to follow (I followed mine from her book, but it’s essentially the same recipe), and work WONDERFULLY in the crockpot.

My brand new crockpot was too big, so I used the little old one. All the apples I used to make it came from my tree. Super delicious!

All in all, this was a success and Chris and I DEVOURED IT. Made the house smell SO YUMMY!!!

So I’m giving my site a new look.  Rather than have it sit and do nothing, I’m going to start using it as both a place for Random Things and the trials of my Technical Learning.  Mostly so I can keep track of my own things from now on!
